Section 13 Taking Pictures for PR Goal: Learn the very basics of story and action pictures for news Avoid common mistakes What makes a good picture? Not only is it worth 1000 words, but it tells a story. For example, here is a good picture: You can feel the cold, see the energy of the dogs, become excited. Something is happening here and there’s a story in the image itself without anything more being shared. (It’s KC9MKJ and the photo was taken by NA0MI.) Here’s one a little less exciting, but still has a story to it in the expression, eye contact and items on the desk. (It’s K4PNT) |
