5. Framing – Make sure you don’t chop off peoples heads. Be conscious of your background and don’t have a tree or light pole growing out of someone’s head or ear. If someone is looking off camera put some additional space between their face and the edge of the screen they are looking at. Better 6. Editing – When editing, use your storyboard as a reference for your project. In the edit process you will probably want to add music. You can’t pick just any music you want for your project, especially if it is for over the air playback. As much as you would like to use your favorite song from the “Eagles” or some other group, you can’t. Doing this is called Copyright Infringement and is VERY illegal. You have to purchase the rights to do this with a piece of music and it can be very expensive. There are however, a lot of Royalty Free music sites on the web that will allow you to search production music libraries, find a cut that you like and pay a minimum, one time use fee. Just Google “royalty free production music”. 7. Screening – When you have completed your masterpiece, you should screen it with non-hams and LISTEN to their thoughts and concerns. Then consider changing the project to address their thoughts. After all, these folks are your audience. |
