Final Notes There is no one “right way” to do PR for any organization. Different people and regions have different ways of doing things. Some are more successful than others depending on the situation. The authors of PR-101 come from several parts of the country with many differing backgrounds. They modify things to fit their own areas. We hope you will do the same. Take the information presented here and make it your own. Modify it to fit your situation. There are few things like the joy of seeing your article in print or on the TV, before thousands of people, and being able to say, “I did that!” If you have suggestions on ways that we can make the course better in the next edition, we’d like to hear them. Please remember that this is a 101 level course and needs to quickly cover many topics and the entire country. But we’re always learning too, so mail in your best suggestions to: Allen Pitts, w1agp ARRL 225 Main St Newington, CT 06111 Please do not use email for this as it is easier for us to compile things on paper. Most of all…. Thank You for your time, interest and efforts on behalf of all hams everywhere! |
