News Upload? Some news outlets have created special web pages where anyone can upload news and pictures at any time. This is a gamble as you never really are sure there is someone at the other end. If your area news outlet has this, try it and see what happens with a non-critical story, then you’ll know if it is a real option or not. Websites and Bloggers While it is not advisable to blindly send out email attachments to most print based media, the reverse is true of web media and bloggers. Fire away! The only caution here is that at 3 MB or larger per picture, don’t send a lot of pictures at once – it will jam up the system. Often such web-based outlets will have guidelines that can help you know what they are looking for.
